Bowater Doors was one of the first manufacturers to reach the independently audited BM TRADA Q Mark accreditations for fire door performance on fire, smoke, and security.
Bowater Doors’ fire doorsets are bi-directionally tested to the BS EN 1634-1 standard and assessed to the full PAS 24:2022 Enhanced Security standard. The standard sets out the requirements for testing fire resistance of door and shutter assemblies, including openable windows. We are a member of Secured by Design, a police initiative to improve the security of buildings and their immediate surroundings. Our fire door is supplied to the Secured by Design specification, as standard.
